Our First Baby Pictures March 22, 2006

Well we’ve finally made it to the half way point – 20 weeks today. I decided to start our blog before our baby arrived so that I could get used to this internet stuff before the baby came.
This pregnancy business seems like it takes forever – but I’m finally feeling pregnant so the wait seems a bit easier these last few weeks. For about 2 weeks now our little baby has been giving me lots of attention. And on Tuesday night Greg felt our baby kicking for the first time. It was wonderful to finally be able to share that with him.
When we first got pregnant both Greg and my sister started telling me that they thought we were having a boy. At the time I had no feeling one way or the other. Well 4 months later and I have totally talked myself into being certain our baby is a boy. I think I’ll be really surprised if he turns out to be a girl!
Today we had our ultrasound. It was amazing! Our baby is growing normally and he weighs 12 oz – which we were told is exactly where he should be. The technician told us that our baby was very active (which I’d pretty much figured out for myself already). What did surprise us is that he seemed very stretched out in there. His legs were almost straight – except when he was winding up to give me a big kick – which he did on a number of occasions while we were watching him.
I think the best part of the entire experience was watching him yawn (which we were told was quite normal). It was really neat. The technician had him in perfect profile and we had a great view of his yawn. We are in awe of our perfect little baby.

Check out his perfect little leg!

Our baby’s foot is 3cm long

What a perfect little baby — and a great website — and of course, perfect parents
